For the third year in a row, ceramicists will be converging on Brooklyn for a weekend of demonstrations, display and information sharing.
The Brooklyn Pottery Invitational returns to the Old American Can Factory in Gowanus this weekend with a dozen artists ready to share their design process. Some of the participating artists include Birdie Boone, Hiroe Hanazono, Ming Yuen Schat, Emily Schroeder Willis and Matt Yanchuk.
The event is free to the public and kicks off on Friday, September 8 from 5 to 8 p.m at the historic factory at 232 3rd Street. The show continues on Saturday, September 7 from 12 to 6 p.m. and Sunday, September 8 from 12 to 5 p.m. For a full list of participating artists and the scheduled demonstrations visit the event page here.
