Affordable Housing Lottery Opens for $1,537 Units at Greenpoint Waterfront Towers

An affordable housing lottery has launched for 251 apartments in a two-building complex in Greenpoint dubbed The Riverie. Located on the banks of the East River, right behind the Greenpoint Ferry Terminal, the development is the latest Greenpoint tower to replace low-slung industrial brick warehouses.

Cobble Hill Greek Revival With Wide-Plank Floors, Parking Asks $3.25 Million

There are some appealing details in this 1840s Greek Revival including wide-plank floors, a pier mirror, mantels, and an original stair. At 227 Warren Street in Cobble Hill, the 20.75-foot-wide house is set up with an owner’s triplex above a one-bedroom garden rental. Included in the sale is a deeded parking spot a few blocks away.

Williamsburg’s Future Hermès Store Turns Bronze After $35 Million Sale

The green construction fence came down and for a short while the future Hermès store could be seen in (almost) all its naked glory on the corner of North 6th and Berry Street in Williamsburg. More recently green netting has gone up on top of molded plastic barriers.

After more than a year of packed hearings and heated debates spotlighting tensions around how to move forward with development in Brooklyn and beyond, a compromise has been reached on the proposed Arrow Linen rezoning in Park Slope.
