brunch.jpgThis Monday morning, while thoughts of fluffy omelets, French toast, and mimosas are still on your mind, can you name the best brunch spot in Brooklyn? We were such big fans of Oznot’s Dish in Williamsburg, and ever since it closed, brunch just hasn’t been the same. We don’t expect to find rich, cardamom-scented French toast or chai tea superior to Oznot’s, but we need to find another restaurant that’ll drag us out of bed on Sunday mornings. Cafe Luluc on Smith Street is our go-to spot at the moment, but it would be nice to find another favorite to keep things interesting.

  1. Oznot’s closed because the owner of the building thought he could sell it for mega-bucks, so he threw them out.

    He never sold the building.

Far too many building owners on the Northside are convinced that their building will sell for x million because they heard that someone’s did.

You cannot possibly in any normal mental state compare Oznot’s Dish to Taco Chulo. GIve me a break.
