A homeowner has a renovation job almost complete but the architect has vanished from the project, leaving the final sign-off in jeopardy. All that remains is to amend one incorrectly filed Schedule B — until it is fixed the plumbing job remains open.
The architect’s fee has been paid in full, so there is no incentive for them to return and address the problem. Should they hire another architect to supersede the existing application?
Please chime in with your advice.
