The plumbing work is complete, the plumber has disappeared and now the homeowners are dealing with an open permit. Since they can’t get the original plumber to clear the open permit, how can they resolve the situation with the Department of Buildings? Will they have to start over with a new plumber?

Please chime in with your advice.
