From the Forum: Replacing a Boiler in the Middle of Winter
The recent cold snap took a toll on their boiler and brownstone owners are now wondering what they should do about replacement.
The recent cold snap took a toll on their boiler and brownstone owners are now wondering what they should do about replacement. They were planning to eventually convert their oil system to gas but are now having to make the decision quickly before cold weather returns. Should they spend the money now to convert to a gas system? One company also recommended a duel-fuel system — should that be something they consider?
