A homeowner is thinking of removing a one-story addition and is wondering if a permit is required for the demolition. There isn’t a foundation under the extension, it isn’t structurally tied into the house and it doesn’t touch the adjoining property. Does the homeowner need to file for a permit before taking it down?
Please chime in with any suggestions.
