A homeowner has allowed the contractors working on a new building to use their backyard, but are now concerned about the resulting damage. There wasn’t an agreement in place before construction began and the homeowner is finding that requests to cover repair costs are being ignored. Without any formal agreement what options do they have to make sure they are compensated for damage to their property?

Please chime in with your advice.
