You will be able to drool over the details of some Bed Stuy architectural details in the privacy of your own home again as the annual Brownstoners of Bedford-Stuyvesant house tour returns for its 44th year with another virtual event.
The tour, which once again this year has a theme of “Preserving Our Legacy, While Embracing Our Future,” will take place on Saturday, October 15 with ticket holders able to view the video until November 27. Just which intriguing interiors will be showcased won’t be revealed until the video launches.
While the event has always given a glimpse inside the neighborhood’s impressive homes, it is also a scholarship fundraiser. Proceeds from the tour will go to a fund that so far has given out over $100,000 in scholarships to seniors from the Boys and Girls High School to support their college dreams.
Tickets are available online now and are $20 each. Ticket holders will receive an email with the video the morning of the tour launch. For more information about the event and to purchase a ticket, visit the event page online. While a trailer for the 2021 tour isn’t yet available, if you missed the 2020 tour you can watch that trailer online.
