What do developers and the administration have against recreational boating in NYC? Many of these new waterfront projects seem well suited to marinas but none to be found.

sounds like a great place to smoke a doobie!
Those green roofs on the lower levels are so much nicer to look down on from the upper units than the typical roof.
The pier is great, and the esplanade is *finally* beginning to open up.
But in that rendering, it looks like building #3 gets built on top of the esplanade (or out in the river)!
As for the Edge, good riddance – the view is much better without it.

have you been there recently? they opened bit that connects N4th to the big pier at N5th – there’s cool little chaise lounges and picnic tables.
