It really is sad that our Belgian friend and his impossibly slow yet delightful service was replaced by this little trust fund fiesta. Took them long enough to allow their own customers to even use their bathroom. Maybe with the new license they’ll be able make prohibition era drinks and wear vintage vests…oh, wait..
did you overhear a rumor or did you perhaps read it in our profile of ted & honey this week?

love the spot.. i find the staff to be pretty tired/stoned when i go in there for lunch or coffee.. hopefully the night staff would be more on the ball
could turn out great, like James in Prospect Heights. patrons are generally respectful and i haven’t heard any neighbors complain about it. in fact, most of us really appreciate having a nice place nearby to go for dinner and a drink.
I still miss Christof.
Tazza is kind of a similar place, has a liquor license and always looks pretty dead at night.
It’s right next door to former Cafe on Clinton – which had a liquor license – its not a big deal.
