As of last week, the scaffolding is down and the interiors are finished at Clermont Greene. The sales process still has a ways to go, but the Price Protection Program that was instituted early last month has helped push the 74-unit building over the 20 percent sold mark, according to an update the building’s brokers sent out on Friday. (The price protection plan gives the buyer a refund if a comparable unit sells for less within 12 months.) Have any readers been inside? We’re still jonesing to see a photo of the interior courtyard.

  1. The building looks like garbage from the outside, but I think its more attractive than the Clemont Greene around the corner for some reason. I think at least unit is already being occupied.

Speaking of the Clermont Greene I think the Walgreens is starting to put the squeeze on some of the bodega owners, the Farmer in the Deli went back to 24 hour a day operation.

  2. “20 percent sold”

Clermont Red. Rental by summer (unless “protection” plan stipulates otherwise).

    ***Bid half off peak comps***

  3. We checked out an open house a few months ago. The units are OK. The inner courtyard is pretty lame, the building does not ‘feel’ like Brooklyn and I found it unappealing overall.
We thought the Absolute had much nicer layouts and better quality, but Clermont Greene is on a slightly better street.
