We’ve featured a number of units in the old school building at 44 Cheever Place in Cobble Hill over the years and this one has to be the most tricked out of them all. The two-bedroom condo has double-height ceilings in the living room and a sleek, modern kitchen that looks like it belongs in a Richard Meier building. Asking price: $1,500,000.

  1. I have been to this building recently and all of the common areas were recently redone and art work has been added to the lobby and 3rd floor. I wonder if this apartment includes parking which is hard to find in Cobble Hill.

  2. I have seen several apartments in this building. Plumbing sketchy, no gas in kitchens, cramped layouts and a general air of neglect in the common spaces should make any potential buyer beware.

  3. I have been in a couple of these apartments, and they really don’t seem to be built well. I think general upgrading might be necessary for the apt to look good for the long haul.
