This Park Slope two-bedroom is attractive but has a problematic layout. The original wood mantels and the tin backsplash in the kitchen add a bit of old-fashioned flair, and the red accent paint is quite modern.
But the one bathroom is only accessible through the larger bedroom, making this apartment unworkable for roommates. Besides that quirk, the location is great — close to the park and the 2/3 trains at Grand Army Plaza.
It seems like a good fit for a couple, who might want to use the smaller bedroom as an office. What do you think of it for $3,200 a month?

All these types of buildings really have crappy layouts.
they all really suck.
The general location is nice but Union is very busy, especially at rush hour. I think the layout is workable for a couple and the small room could be an office or a nursery, although a nursery facing Union could be pretty awful. I still prefer this, which at least is near the park, to the Myrtle Ave rental covered today.
You could just switch the entire layout as well, with both bedrooms in the front and the living room in the back. But then both bedrooms are on Union. No thanks, not for me, but plenty of people do it.
