how do they do IT on that tiny bed
Ft Greene apartment is cute. The other apartment …well …just too small with all those children and a friggin smelly dog.
looks completely unlivable.
the space was designed to be photographed
rather than to be a pleasant human habitation.
I love it! I need someone like you at my house, I just can’t afford it. I have not one ounce of creativity in my body. Nice job, you should be proud. Ignore the haters, they never leave this site.
Tony, congrats and thanks for posting. I think you’ve done a great job with the space and would be anxious to see what you would do with larger areas. Regarding the bed, maybe consider those warning grooves on the side like they have on the shoulder of the highway that would make a loud bumpity bump hum if you rolled onto them?
eeeuuh!
It looks like a cramped doctor’s waiting room.
Who was this designed for, R2-D2?
OK, this is the very opposite of what one expects to see in a blog named “Brownstoner”.
this is what one expects in blog named
“living tightly with plastics”.
Hilary is making the bed (the apartment isn’t haunted – yea!). We’ve never fallen out of bed (we’ve lived here for 3 years) – there is about 12″ of wood around the mattress that acts as a sensory warning device. We would open up the space to the kitchen if we owned, but alas, we are renting and saving for a little share of brownstone brooklyn.
2:04 – I fell out of a low bed and broke my collarbone… on a carpeted surface.
of course, I was 2 at the time, but it is possible!
Does the elevated bed come with safety harnesses?
