Cobble Hill Schools Over Crowding

Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill parents have rallied together to organize a discussion of overcrowding in the area’s public elementary schools.

Together with Community Education Council 15, the parents are holding a discussion of problems at P.S. 29, P.S. 32 and P.S. 58 — all of which, according to locals, are bursting with children from the neighborhoods’ large amount of young families.

The event will be held from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 21 at P.S. 58. In attendance will be Department of Education representatives and elected officials from the School Construction Authority.

Catering to the area’s diversity, translators will be available in Spanish, Chinese and Bengali.

The event’s flyer invites all interested parents to attend.
