455 101st street bay ridge 12015

This three-bedroom house for rent in Bay Ridge seems perfect for a family. TheĀ 1,400-square-foot home looks to have been built in the ’30s or ’40s and has a roof deck, garage and finished basement with a separate entrance and a second bath. The living and dining areas are separate and look pretty spacious, and there’s a washer/dryer and dishwasher. It’s across the street from John Paul Jones Park, next to the Verrazano Bridge, and only a few blocks from the Fort Hamilton Army Base. If you’re relying on the subway, the R train is about seven blocks away at 95th Street. Do you think it’ll rent for $3,300 a month?

  1. I’m a big supporter in seeing prices increase in Bay Ridge (as are most residents) for the fact that the area around 86th street and 3rd avenue to 86th street and fort hamilton parkway including blocks like 85th, 84th, 83rd, 87th, and 88th give a miniature-underdeveloped Manhattan feel. Amenities along the 86th street corridor in this area and retail stretches of 3rd avenue and 5th avenue provide residents with everything they need. Single-family homes around 2000 sq ft with yards and parking should be commanding over a million dollars. Compared to neighborhoods like Crown Heights and Bedford Stuyvesant the neighborhood of Bay Ridge is a gold mine.

Big supporter of rezoning 86th street and 4th avenue corridor in bay ridge for some larger residential developments. With monthly rents increasing year over year by 14% (http://therealdeal.com/blog/2015/01/17/stockbrokers-hipsters-and-yuppies-are-invading-bay-ridge/) I feel this is inevitable. Bay Ridge is next.
