Housing Preservation and Development is asking Housing Court to oust the landlords and appoint an independent administrator to manage 98 Linden Street in Bushwick, where kitchens and baths were destroyed in an apparent effort to get rent regulated tenants to move, The New York Times reported.

Earlier this week, the state’s Tenant Protection Unit asked landlords Joel and Aaron Israel’s JBI Management for rental histories and other records relating to the 10 buildings they own in Williamsburg, Bushwick and Greenpoint, where other longtime tenants have also complained of harassment.
