Nostrand Avenue is getting its very own cupcake bakery, the aptly named Brooklyn Baby Cakes, right next door to Breukelen Cellars, at 506 Nostrand Avenue. Owner Myriam Nicolas has baking on a special-order basis since 2007. Her whimsically decorated creations come in flavors such as dulce de leche, mango and red velvet. The bakery is not related to BabyCakes NYC in Manhattan, which is a vegan bakery.
