SWO for Flouting Landmarks Regs on Henry Street

This summer we were confused when permits were approved for three townhouses at 357-361 Henry Street since it didn’t seem like the LPC had approved work on the lots. Turns out our suspicions were correct: last month a stop work order was issued for “excavation and some work to have been done without the issuance of a permit by landmarks.” The hearing is pending. Meanwhile, work continues at two neighboring developments: the new townhouse on Amity Street and construction on the former Lamm Institute, which will be three separate townhouses carved out of the larger building.
