The list of newcomers to Fulton Street keeps getting longer: Women’s Wear Daily (via Racked) reports that Express just signed a lease at 490 Fulton, where it will occupy 10,000 square feet of space. A Filene’s Basement/Syms hybrid will occupy another 40,000 square feet. According to WWD, the chain’s CEO, Michael Weiss, got his retail training in a Fulton Street department store that is now Macy’s. And just in case you’re losing track, Racked complied a handy list for all the new things to expect on that short stretch of Downtown Brooklyn: “H&M, Aeropostale, The Gap, Filene’s Basement, and Shack Shack.” Phew!
