Thanks to aptsandlofts.com’s Facebook page, we now know 568 Union Avenue is getting a pool. A rep at the site says, “Construction is moving along smoothly at the mixed-use property and the retail spaces have hit the market.” You can see those listings here; the spaces are asking $11,750/month. The glass facade for the 94-unit building was being put into place in March. You can see a picture of the facade as it stands now after the jump.

Can I just express what has to still be a somewhat common sentiment and say, “wtf?” Or, in 1995 terms — “the hell?”

please note – the closest REAL grocery store within walking distance is on Grand and Lorimer.
