Ah, ok, thanks. That seems like a mistake, then. Dec. 17 was just the other day!
@Nomi, no, it was an Open House Pick, and not even a month ago. http://bstoner.wpengine.com/brownstoner/archives/2010/12/open_house_pick_423.php
I though 16th Street was just a House of the Day?
I like when those reappear as open houses because then sometimes we get to hear what they really look like.
Yes, $400k seems about right. But I guess that “little” for a “whole house” in almost Park Slope, as un-Park Slope as it is, is just not going to happen?
The 16th Street house was an Open House Pick maybe a month or so ago. It’s deja vu all over again. Back then, the consensus was it was pretty over-priced and should go for maybe $400k, IIRC. Mr. B, can’t we get some original stock for these Picks?
People complain when the open houses are all very expensive. People complain when they are all … whatever these are.
Oh, wait. I forgot what Snark said the other day. Complaining is the fuel that keeps the internet running. Except he said it better.
Here’s a complaint: I spent about a half hour making all kinds of calculations about the 16th street house, different ways to figure out what they were charging per foot. It was nuanced, and intricate. It was beautiful! And then I lost it when I went to post it.
$650 for that 16th Street house is a joke. It’s barely a house, sits next to a gated garage, has no yard, and, according to Google maps, overlooks a dirt lot.
Somebody paid $435,000 for this in 2003!!
Inventory sucks.
Wasn’t the 16th st house here a couple weeks ago? I went to see it and posted about it. It’s worse than you think.
More4Less, rich and lose? Or rich and loose? Is that a Freudian slip?
