The developer of the 45 3rd Place (aka the Carroll Gardens atrocity) has finally cried “Uncle!” After 16 months on the market with no reduction in price, the two units in the mangled converted townhouse finally received small price reductions (around 3%) at the end of last week. (Notice how the current listings do not include a single photo of the offending addition.) We wonder whether they’ve fixed any of the red flags spotted by blogger Pardon Me For Asking at an open house earlier this year. What do you think these will ultimately sell for (if they ever do)?

You two add so much to this blog. jerri blank, daveinbedstuy and I already declared that faded type insults don’t count, so I typically ignore them, unless they are just too irresistable to rebut (cue the Beavis and Butthead response to “rebut”). Words like “douche” here have become about as tired and unoriginal as “whassup” and The What’s rants. As for the homophobes, no doubt these boys (yes, I’m pretty sure they are not women) are somewhat closeted themselves. For the sake of the gay community, I hope such guests stay in the closet.
It’s funny how the same faded type posters who accuse some of us of hijacking threads add absolutely nothing but hatred to this blog.

Here is another fact: There is a massive dislocation in our Credit Markets. I would like someone to post their experience with getting a mortgage now. Plenty of banks are yanking their credit lines and telling people to “go fuck themselves” when applying for a loan.
