BoCoCa Arts Festival of Brooklyn
The Third Annual BoCoCa Arts Festival will be presenting strong lineups of plays, music and visual art from Friday, June 17, through Sunday, June 26, in the Brooklyn neighborhoods of Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill and Carroll Gardens. BAF places visual and performing artists in unconventional venues – like bars, art galleries and the New York City Transit Museum – in order to simultaneously showcase emerging artists, local businesses and the three unique neighborhoods. The Poplar Street Open Garden
Come see what’s growing in our amazing garden – and talk garden talk with us – vegetables, fruit trees, herbs, roses, perennials, native plants, birds, butterflies, nature spirits, compost bins, etc., and our beehive too! There will be refreshments and live music. Saturday noon to 3:00 pm, at the northwest corner of Hicks and Poplar Street.
PS84 Garden Party
Come celebrate spring with PS 84! Join us for a garden-themed fundraising event to raise money for the arts at PS 84. We’ll have garden-themed activities for kids: create paper lilies; get your face painted, make a garden fairy wand or garden wizard hat; and best of all, plant and take home a seedling to start your own garden! This Saturday at the PS 84 Kindergarten/Pre-K playground at 250 Berry St., 11-3pm.
Brooklyn Flea + Smorgasburg
On Saturday, the Flea is held at 176 Lafayette Ave. (between Clermont + Vanderbilt Avenues) in Fort Greene. On Sunday, the Flea will be at 27 North 6th Street (between Kent Avenue + East River). And on Saturday there’s the all-food market Smorgasburg, at the same Williamsburg location. Saturday & Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Free.

Red Hook Sidewalk Sale
This is everybody’s sidewalk sale – by and for businesses, families, nonprofits, and neighbors. So if you’re in the neighborhood on Sunday, get involved. Sunday, June 19th. 11am to 4pm. All along Van Brunt Street.
Epic Dumbo Stoop Sale
The 3rd Annual Epic DUMBO Stoop Sale returns to The Archway on Saturday, June 18. DJs will be spinning throughout the day and at 2pm there is a dance party with DJ Kai. Buy. Sell. Have a good time! Under the Manhattan Bridge (Water Street between Adams Street and Anchorage Place), 11am to 4:00pm, rain or shine.
