Williamsburg/Greenpoint

The Brooklyn Paper covers the shuttering of Greenpoint club CoCo66, where the owner had allegedly been selling alcohol without a license for more than a week. The NYPD dumped nearly $8,000 worth of liquor down the drain. And The Whiskey Brooklyn team has opened a small whiskey-only liquor store, called the Whiskey Shop, at 44 Berry Street, says Grub Street.

The shop will serve Blue Bottle Coffee and prepared foods from the grocery store. The Local also tells us Greenlight Bookstore is moving its buying, shipping and receiving, and bookkeeping offices next door. It’ll be sharing space with the soon-to-be Greene Grape Annex.
