Brooklyn sure is getting its fair share of weird weather this fall. Last month it was a tornado, and then last night it was a hailstorm that, according to one tipster who sent in photos, included pellets that were two inches wide! I saved some hazelnut-sized hailstones in the freezer. An idiotic impulse spurred by incredulity; the stuff was thick enough on the ground to shovel.
DIBS, I have no problem with resolving Medicaid corruption, within reason. Why do you care? You’re retiring next year, and moving to PA. It won’t be your tax dollars anyway!

The hail trashed my plants/annuals in pots out on the deck. Really sad this morning to see the wreckage. Ah well, it’s about time to do the fall clean up anyway. : (

Did you see the information that benson posted on the level of NYS medicaid spending? it’s way out of control. My boy Carl has targetted that specifically. I don’t see anything being specifically targetted by Cuomo.
You guys didn’t get hail last month? Second time I see hail since I moved to NY. Is it global warming?
The only problem I had with all the damn storms was that they kept knocking the apples off my tree. We had the last one last night paired with a nice Morbier.
