      Coney Island Boardwalk Designated a Scenic Landmark by the LPC

      This morning, the Landmarks Preservation Commission voted unanimously in favor of designating the Coney Island Boardwalk.

      The commission will only serve in an advisory role

      If the Coney Island boardwalk is designated a historic landmark by the Landmarks Preservation Commission will the honor be in name only?
