Cameron-Smith shares a few stories about how she’s been able to help people find the right town and the right house.

“One couple was looking for a home in Croton,” she says. “The wife was adamant it not be near any water. Turns out the perfect house was on the Croton River. It had a big bay window overlooking swans on a rock – and they got an incredible steal. It’s gone up $250,000 since they bought it.”

“For another couple, I probably showed them everything on the market that met their criteria, but one wanted modern, one wanted traditional. We found something in Chappaqua built in the 1940s that satisfied them both.”

“Another family thought they wanted to be in Hastings, due to proximity to the city, but that comes with a higher price per square foot than they wanted to pay. I found them a place in Croton, only ten minutes farther from the city, this one with views of the reservoir and built-in bookcases, and they fell in love with it.”

“Lastly, there was a couple working with multiple brokers, with very specific requirements, nearly impossible to satisfy with the available inventory. We found a newly constructed shell in Briarcliff Manor and they got to design the interior themselves,” says Cameron-Smith.
