High-end vacation rental service onefinestay is looking for beautiful properties in Brooklyn. “In many ways Brooklyn — with its turn-of-the-century brownstones, farm-to-table restaurants and a great neighborhood vibe — reminds us more of our London roots than Manhattan,” said Evan Frank, cofounder and New York general manager.

“Brooklyn has been very popular with European visitors and other travelers from around the world.”

Right now, the site offers homes in such neighborhoods as Williamsburg, Fort Greene and Park Slope ranging from $235 to $996 a night, depending on the size. For example, the two-bedroom Prospect Heights townhouse pictured above rents for $425 a night. The firm visits every property before listing, and also offers private homes in London and Manhattan.

The idea behind the service is to live like a local — a very lucky local — while on vacation, so the group is especially interested in properties with a Brooklyn look in upscale parts of the borough. Onefinestay takes care of professional cleaning and supplies linens and Kiehl’s products, so guests have hotel comforts and owners aren’t inconvenienced. It’s an easy way to pay for your own vacation.  For more information about how it works, click here.
