In Central Brooklyn, the average price for a one- to three-family house jumped 7 percent in the first quarter of 2021 compared to the same period last year, while the average price per square foot increased by 10 percent, according to Brown Harris Stevens’ most recent Brooklyn residential market report.
Interest for 567 Lafayette was immediate, with a pool of potential buyers to choose from. Gratineau secured a successful offer in just 15 days, and the contract was signed 31 days after the property went on the market. It closed in just over three months.
