Despite the rain the tour was still fun. The houses are enormous and lovely with thier stained glass and mahogony walls. # 8 and # 10 were favorites. The AC units in #10 were quite unique, they looked like flat screened TVs.
I have my ticket — can’t wait!
One of the Victorian neighborhoods, Ditmas Park West is holding their neighborhood wide yard sales at the same time. You’ll get a chance to speak to residents.
100 yrs old!
I’m with Moses…smash everything…build highways. Maybe MetroTech 2.
I would recommend this, having been on last year’s tour. The houses are interesting and the tour had a friendly laid back vibe. Not as crowded as some of the other house tours I’ve done.
