Condo: Unusual Exterior, Basic Interior, High Price
We don’t know much about this condo conversion except that it’s been on the market for some time now. It has caught our eye simply because the exterior is not your typical condo in East Williamsburg–i.e. it’s not a lift conversion and it’s not new construction. We don’t know much about this condo conversion except that it’s been on the market for some time now. It has caught our eye simply because the exterior is not your typical condo in East Williamsburg–i.e. it’s not a lift conversion and it’s not new construction. We can’t quite tell where in the quaint-tacky spectrum it lies. There’s frustratingly little information on the Cobble Heights website (which needs a big overhaul, by the way–in this day and age you’re doing yourself a disservice not to provide direct links to properties), but we’re banking on the fact that someone out there will be able to tell us where in East Williamsburg this is and what these places feel like in person. Without the benefit of any of that information (or even the square footage), we’re going to go out on a limb and say that $395,000 is too much to pay for this muffler. Agreed?

I’m glad your neighborhood is getting taking over… viva la yuppie!
my mama’s stepdaddy’s grandmother’s husband got robbed in front of those condos yesterday too…
I thought I saw a lot of people with bones through their noses in front of my house yesterday….
damn savages!
I prefer more cafes and the yuppies over theives and savages. Bring on the eLiffication! Ok, maybe not the yuppies.
depends what you look for in a neighborhood. a friend’s car just got broken into across the street from these new condos, at least i’ll be able to eat a yummy muffin while i report my stolen car to the cops.
there goes the nabe! I really like living in this area… sad to see it go to the strollers and yuppies! get a cup of .60 cents coffee like everyone else. why does paying $2.00 for coffee make it better. I find it so weird that everyone sits at these “cafes” with there laptops in their own little bubble… I guess its all realative… What makes a nabe better… I thought it was a lack of crime, not muffins..
I’m guessing sometime before July.
Does anyone know when people will be moving into these codos???
