According to public real estate filings, The Timothy Robbins Self Declaration Trust closed on the house at 5 Doughty Street for $1,351,000 on October 5. The property is near the waterfront just a few steps south of Old Fulton Street, which is Brooklyn Heights, not Dumbo, in our book. So is this really the Tim Robbins? Hard to be sure, but the fact that the trust’s address is in Los Angeles makes us think it just might be.

saw tim and Susan at North Six last week seeing their son’s band play.
I’m going to agree that the brooklyn papers thing was deeply wrong and frankly embarrassing for brooklynites. It made me never want to have anything to do with that paper.
doubt he bought place to live in…could afford much nicer and bigger than this. Question is for what purpose did buy it? for family member, friend, politcal cause, mistress, investment, project?

Oh sure it’s up to me to decide to print a sleazy pix of Maggie G. on the front page of the Bklyn Papers, and put them everywhere, even on my stoop and in all the stores I frequent, just because she bought a house in our area. That’s how powerful a person I am. It’s also nice to have to explain to our kids why this lady is in the papers essentially in her birthday suit because of said stupid reason.
Celebs aren’t telling anybody anything. It’s up to you to pay attention to what they’re doing, or not.
Like we need more celebs to tell us that Bklyn is an okay place to live or what?
