Yesterday a press release was beamed out telling of how Williamsburg’s The Edge condo is now 50 percent sold, with 34 contracts signed in March. (The nitty-gritty numbers, according to the release: 165 closings so far, and another 100+ in contract.) There are more than 500 units in the condo’s two buildings. StreetEasy’s listings have prices running between $429,000 for a 509-square-foot studio to $1,950,000 for a three-bedroom penthouse in the south tower, and from $490,000 for a one-bedroom up to $2,735,000 for a 2,530-square-foot three-bedroom in the north tower. The condo, which overlooks a little-known weekly flea market, was above the 40 percent-sold mark in January. GMAP
