I know two families from Manhattan who bought here. The aesthetics appeal to new residents who don’t care for historic buildings and they liked the three bedroom layouts and prices. And PS 321 is key, while the school gets increasingly overcrowded. If they ever reduce the size of that zone to exclude Fourth Avenue real estate prices there will collapse. Is this Karl Fischer or Scarano?
I like the look of this building from the outside, compared to most on 4th, this and The Arias @ Butler are the best looking buildings here.
Some of the layouts are good, while others aren’t. I can’t imagine the views they are talking about though. The corner floor to ceiling windows on 4th will always be dirty, blech…..
but all in all the look of the building is good.
ps 321 effect.
I think it’s awful looking but more important is how liveable it is on the inside, and it seems to be offering nice layouts and such. But as an artist/designer- I’m so not loving it.
I like the way it looks in person. And the photo ain’t bad either.
Why someone has decided to hate Brooklyn because unlike the majority of the country, people believe in this place, are excited about where they live and want to set down some roots is BEYOND me.
People who hate where they live but instead of doing something about it, bitch constantly about it, are sad.
It’s a good, practical building, with functional layouts and reasonable prices. It stands out for those reasons. Most new developments barely manage to get 1 out of 3.
Come on, this building is quite attractive. Glad that it is doing well. Hopefully encourages more developers to consider good design as an amenity not a hurdle.
i think i am finally realizing…that brooklyn sucks.
What I like about this bldg is that many of the one bedroom have two exposures. You could spend $1million at OPP and still get only one exposures. Granted not much to view in this hood but I bet they are views of city and lady liberty plus day long sunlight.
