  1. Carlton is a beautiful block. I think this may be a record for a 4-story townhouse in Fort Greene. I know other 5 family homes have traded for over $2m in the past year or two though.

  2. ConcVillage is a bit removed from Bklyn hts proper -kind of its own island at entrance to Brooklyn Bridge. So little retail right outside door.
But subway entrance is. Bland 1950’s complex with nice grounds and doormen.
Nice size apts. And with growth of DUMBO couple blocks away – more services closeby.
I think it is bargain compared to surrounding area. Some apts. may face noisey busy corner of Tillary and Adams.
Great views from roofs. I think about 6 or 7 bldgs in complex.
1 bedrooms in mid to upper 300’s range – but this one sold for over 400k. 2 bedrooms in mid-upper 400s.
All depending on location incomplex, size and if new kitchen etc.

  3. supergirl,

It’s the ‘po man’s heights/dumbo, walled in by 8 lanes of dangerous Tillary traffic, the two noisy bridges (with Projects by Manhattan Bridge side, and the always quaint and pungent BQE.

Its utterly isolated in a really lousy, traffic/exhaust-laden area, and the buildings are all dreary post-war pigeonhole ick.

    That help?
