Rental of the Day: 176 8th Avenue
The pictures aren’t great, but we’re still attracted to this one-bedroom rental in a townhouse at 176 8th Avenue. If the office space is sizable and there really are “closets galore” it could be a good deal. And the exterior of this building is pretty stunning. What do you think?

If it’s 500 sq. ft that’s a decent size for a studio. You can easily fit a bed, couch and desk in there without it being cramped.
“a bed in view in a studio (which is vile btw)”
thanks, dick!! haha
> a bed in view in a studio (which is vile btw)
Ah yes, far worse than a crusty beanbag chair… 😉
HELLO — ad says it’s a studio.
Didn’t we see this listing before? I bet they tore out all the walls and it looks bizarre. Or maybe it’s a pretty railroad with three rooms and no doors between? (Then it should be listed as a TWO bedroom, ha ha ha.)
I’d want to see it in person. If nice, it’s a decent price considering location. I mean, a one bedroom of approximately the same size would be $1900, right?
id rather have a big studio than a one bedroom with a tiny bedroom. considering i dont believe in owning a bed, a bed in view in a studio (which is vile btw) wouldnt be an issue.
*rob*
it is new rustic though.
“Thought it was too good to be true! It turns out that its a STUDIO!”
Still not a bad price for a nice studio. Depending on the layout 500sqft can be pretty big.
“rustic” is an unfortunate word choice for the description of a bathroom
Thought it was too good to be true! It turns out that its a STUDIO!…and around 500sq ft. Just spoke with the broker. He stated that the listing does not allow him to pick “studio” and that he is currently revising it.
………I was worried there for a minute
