This one-bedroom, two-bathroom is going for $6,000 a month. Likey? (Update: Rented over this weekend!)

Heather, I’m inclined to think he’s right. As crazy expensive as Williamsburg has gotten, it’s not quite Tribeca crazy:

Configured as just one-bedroom, dirty? Not so sure it would.
6k? NFW
This is the old Esquire Boot Black building, where I regret not owning but don’t regret not buying. Is there a big a-hole in Williamsburg (Creative Class Division) than Stephanie Eisenberg?
What looks like one building is really two. This is a north facing unit, which were exquisite. One funky detail is the windows were designed to provide light to people working, not high-scoring bachelors. Someone along the way added the three steps up in the living room so people can look out the windows while seated.
a 2,500 sq ft loft with 20 ft ceilings would be ALOT more in Tribeca.
Tribeca rents. Williamburg might even be more expensive than Tribeca at this point. It makes no sense, but Tribeca and Dumbo as expensive neighborhoods made no sense either.
condo building. All units sold as raw space back in 2001.
again, remember that there’s the j and m trains folks. totally an option.
also, the blocks in WB, are really short. i walk all over all the time, so 10 blocks for me is nothing.
easy to bike, walk over the bridge too. very convenient for car service/cabs to and from manhattan.
sweet place.
Hey WBer – you around?
What’s the deal with this building, are they condos? Are all the units this pimpish, or is this a special penthouse or something.
