Rental of the Day: 151 Manhattan Avenue, #2B

Less-than-charming exterior aside, though, the idea of having an enclosed patio area to enjoy all year long doesn’t rub us the wrong way. Aside from that the finishes look nice—if fairly standard—for a Williamsburg apartment. The asking rent for this one-and-a-half bedroom is $2,450/month, which might be a bit steep for a pad this far east. Thoughts?

This is a seriously ghetto location. I’d rather be closer to the trains in Bushwick.
overpriced as hell. that area is slummy. my friend lives in a comparable place up on maujer for only $1700 (although no deck and no W/D in unit… but also new construction, and a significantly nicer area)
unfortunately (or fortunately for the owner) it only takes one sucker to think this is worth it…
yawn, and yet another monochromatic kitchen and bathroom.
Little pricey – I would consider CastleBraid on Troutman/Central before paying 2,450 off the Montrose stop.
