i live here! one room has a big closet with overhead storage to spare and the other I put a wardrobe in. it’s infinitely smaller than our last place in the same price range, but that place had a crazy layout, cracks in the walls, the ceiling was falling down, the floors were PRACTICALLY vertical and had fallen into disarray to the point where we were afraid our small cat would fall into the massive holes around the clanking heaters we couldn’t turn off because they’d leak into the apartment below (so the solution was of course DUCT TAPE),and the shaking from the churches below was a nightmare–all which the landlord chalked up to the “charm” of living in an old brownstone–insane! This place is clean, quiet, well cared-for, and excellently renovated. Small, but not Manhattan-tiny and perfect for two people. the neighborhood is amazing and we’re not princesses, so that dishwasher is divine. (timmy, you’re absolutely right–shallow sink, small dishwasher and it’s not fake by any means!)this place is perfect for two people. Added bonus? BACKYARD! don’t hate, this is a great deal.
You achieve a dishwasher under the sink by having 1) and small dishwasher and 2) a very shallow sink. It’s not brain surgery. We’ve all lived in tiny places when we were starting out and clever use of space is better than wasted space. Don’t know why everyone is losing their minds and projecting their insecurities on the FUTURE tenants of this unit.
Andrew gets genius points for noticing the dishwasher problem. What the hell?
I wish I had time to call the broker.
This is a true TWO Bedroom Front and Back with oversize windows in BOTH rooms. Additionally there is a WORKING under the sink stainless steel Dishwasher as well as a Jacuzzi Tub. The apartment is a MUST SEE as there is true character i.e. exposed brick, high ceiling.
it’s a faux dishwasher… they are banking on someone who eats out all the time and will use it only to store their shoes and books. duh! and when mommy and daddy come to visit they will be happy that precious little sarah or ethan have a dishwasher. which they dont. but who cares. it’s brooklyn yall!!!
*rob*
That dishwasher defies the laws of physics. Seriously, is that photoshop or something?
How exactly does one install a dishwasher under a sink? Never seen that before…
It looks like a 1 bedroom cut up into 2 tiny bedrooms without closets, which is what I’ve come to expect when I read “perfect share.”
on 2nd thought – looks too small to share
