Rental of the Day: 121 Kingsland Ave, #3A
121 Kingsland is on the wrong side of the BQE to officially be in Greenpoint, but we do like the overall feel of this one-bedroom apartment. The finishes look well done, especially in the open kitchen. What’s listed is 588 square feet of space, with a rent of $2,000/month. Care to opine? 121 Kingsland Avenue,…

Yeah, it’s nice, but that’s a lot of money for a 500something foot one-bedroom in that part of town.
F@$%ing ridiculous. Where is the nearest subway? I pay $2300 for a duplex 2.5 bedroom with backyard, all utilities included, washer/dryer, near A and G trains in Bed-Stuy. Is this listing a joke?
Beautiful but small one bedroom. But to say this place is in the middle of nowhere is an insult to nowhere. I thought pioneers didn’t have to be rich.
It’s sad, but I could actually go for a mosaic-tiled bathtub with a plasma tv. I commend the developers for giving someone a reason to want to live next to the BQE in far west east Williamsburg.
Two-way plasma TV!
I was skeptical until I read “mosaic tiled Jacuzzi-style tubs with a built-in plasma screen TV” in the listing.
boo! another one bedroom that’s pretty much only affordable to couples or polygamists :-/

I’m pretty sure the old-timers would call this Greenpoint – but you’re right.
