Today this one is going for $2,950 a month. Overall it looks like a classy apartment, though it also appears that stock photos were used, so there’s no saying if the layout is a little wonky, as some commenters noted when units first hit the market. Think the price is right for 600 square feet in this location?

This is the former Myles Standish Hotel, owned by the Jehovah Witnesses and sold off as part of their property sales (which included 360 Furman Street) in the last several years. The floors above the fifth story or so have unimpeded views of the harbor, over the brownstones across the street, which back onto the Promenade. This is between Clark Street and Pierrepont Street.
These are great units for folks who can afford it and who wish to live in a very very nice location such as Columbia Heights.
“this is on the wrong side of Columbia Heights, might as well be cobble hill”
Cobble Hill is south of Atlantic, eight blocks away.
I think it’s a great price!
Overpriced.
I think it’s about $400 overpriced, because those 1-br are so small in person; anyway, it’s not the worst you can do if you are a new arrival to the city. The worst would be to pay a broker’s fee for a building that you can rent directly from the management co.

First of all, yes, that photo above is a stock photo of a 2-bedroom apt on the top floor of the building. I lived here for a year in 2009. The location is fantastic but I moved because I felt the rent was way too high for what I was getting (and that was before they raised the rent to $2900). The bathrooms, although clean, were not renovated. The layouts were a little weird. Most of the units (including mine) did not had a full-sized fridge or stove.
looks good to me – i assume those high floor units have views?
looks nice to me but unlike many posters here I love Brooklyn Heights.
