Agree that yesterday’s were high and these are low. Also the changes from ’04 to ’05 appear far too great in some cases. I wish my house had appreciated by almost 30% last year–but it didn’t. It was more like 10%.
If yesterday’s numbers were square foot for 1-2 family houses and these are the sales prices for the actual houses, it appears the average house in Boerum Hill is 1,830 square feet which is not right. These numbers are too low and yesterday’s were too high.
These numbers are very low.If I had found a house for any where near these numbers last year I would have jumped on it. I am a REBNY member and an appraiser so I would to know where they cam up with these prices.
trying to find out how they did calcs.
Wondering if only transaction done by REBNY members…..
and maybe some nabes like Kensington, victorian Flatbush, etc dominated by non-REBNY agents?

This is median price of house in thousands?
Yesterday was average per sq. ft., no?
I like per sq. ft. figures better.
