A small warehouse once used as a car repair shop in Prospect Heights has sold for $2,200,000, said Massey Knakal, which brokered the deal. An unnamed developer bought the property at 330-334 St. Marks Avenue, between Washington and Underhill avenues, and intends to develop it into residential apartments. We hope they don’t tear down the building but it seems likely. We’re not expecting a huge high rise here: The property has a FAR of only 2, or 10,000 square feet, double the current square footage of the building. The sale price works out to be about $220 per buildable square foot. GMAP
