The sale of the Pfizer plant at 475 Marcy Avenue hit city records on Friday, showing that Long Island City-based real estate investment firm Acumen Capital Partners paid $19 million for the nearly 600,000-square-foot building. The company also paid an additional $7 million for other Pfizer-owned parcels next to the plant. The buyer reportedly specializes in converting buildings for light-industrial and commercial use.
