Open Thread

I hope this isn’t a thread killer but I just had a fight with my accountant. I have had him for ages – he knows what he is doing but gradually has begun to treat me as one of his family – i.e. behaves in a shabby unprofessional way. This year everything was 100% electronic — we went through all the numbers, but I never saw the final PDF before he sent off the return to the IRS. Don’t these things require electronic signatures? That’s the first question. The second one is that I need a new accountant. A very good one. Any recommendations?

If he’s as sensitive there as he has been here he won’t last a day.
