“doctor doom? damsel-in-distress? dear dad? deadly danderlion? drunken doctor?
help, nomi, pls.” (antidope)
Um, I meant Debbie Downer. But in a loving way . .. . It’s comforting, reassuring. Consistency is .. .. well, ok, it’s the hobgoblin of small minds, but still.
Oh, my God. When people start bringing trotting out the gotcha quotes — ick. No like.
Talk about discpicable.
You just act like a piece of trash 99% of the time.

Hey, you misspelled despicable. Looks like I was able to get to you. YAY! I got you rattled!
i prefer to my 99% trash to your 100% psycho bitch despicable rich folks’ lapdog
LOL!
Oh, CarGar, hi! I’ve been busy trying to cook with no stove. It’s not easy. But now we have the Croton water and don’t have to haul a pail from the well, so that helps.
Maybe Kimcheater, but remember “bring your own architect” means more than “a little TLC.” You want to be clearing $900 AFTER you renovate all but the “good bones.”
Hey, StevieB, you may be onto something! After all, it would be a good investment. Even if our regular bloggers are not all potential buyers, you got to figure that a prospective buyer is doing some webcrawling and will find there way to us eventually.
> $4000 for a 2BR duplex at that location is beyond ludicrous. I think it would be closer to $2000-$2200.
Did some more digging and you’re right that you’d never get $4000. But $2000 for a 1,500-ish square footer seems off, too. It’s a two bedroom, but with a separate dining area and two studies. To some brokers, that probably makes this a five-bedroom. Either way, the numbers no longer make sense at $1.075 million. Maybe low $900s?
>>C’mon out of the closet, antidope, and give us the real dope!
Dope is hired by brokers to post on bstoner full time.
I would think 2,000 max too. btw, I want to defend MM. She may err on the side of caution, but she’s grounded, and caution is precisely what is needed during these think inventory times. As for antidope, I’m totally convinced that s/he is either a broker, or sleeps with one. C’mon out of the closet, antidope, and give us the real dope!
The Clinton Hill (not Fort Greene!) block was named one of the best residential blocks in the whole city by Time Out in Oct. 2006. It’s not for everyone but it is a terrific block for several reasons.
http://newyork.timeout.com/articles/features/4104/block-stars
It’s number 31 in the rankings.
