I like the top three pics in the PLG decorator showcase (parlor, dining room, kitchen). But the others are just silly. The family-rec room looks cheap. What is a japanese modern bathroom doing in a townhouse like this?
I want to add: ” A Castle in Hell is still in Hell! “
I think the PLG house’s appeal will turn on whether the kitchen and baths are to the buyer’s taste. They’re not to mine, but they look quality, so they’ll be worth a premium to someone. Clever use of the old mini-bedroom on the top floor as another bath. What I want to know is – does the pool table come with the house? And how’d they get it in there? Because I own an identical house on Lincoln, and I know I wouldn’t be able get one in or out of my basement without taking down walls. I agree with everyone that the price is too high – probably by ~200K.
I like the PLG house but a 57% premium over the 2005 price is nutz (to stay polite)!
Wake up Caroline, we live in a different world, baby!
The PLG house which, as noted, is the home of a very well-regarded interior designer, and is beyond gorgeous! It was on the house tour either last year or the year before and was on most drool lists. What was renovated was done very sensitively and sensibly; what was restored is simply magnificent. The garden is also luscious.
I must be missing something. Isn’t the PLG houses identical to the house on the Midwood that sold in April for $995K? Same size, same style, same level of details, and same level of renovation. I actually liked that one more. This price seems nutty.
Oh, I heart fuller place. I might have to pretend to be a shopper to take a peak in there.
The PLG house is gorgeous!
so many great points about it – LOVE that cherry blossom in the backyard
I just don’t know they will get that high of a price of 1.325 – but I hope they get close to ask!
Another rip off attempt from Apt & Loft trying to sell you a disgusting house for 1.2 Millions while a fully renovated one in the Historic district sold for less than a Million a few weeks ago:
