  1. How are you guys getting a 10 minute walk out of a couple of blocks? I used to live nearby and used the Clinton Washington C train to get to work everyday and it did not take 10 minutes, try 5 or 6. If you mapquest it, the subway at Clinton and Fulton is 0.3 miles away. So even if you stroll over there, it would not take more than 6 or 7 minutes. If you walk quickly, much faster. Good lord.

Don’t know why I’m getting all wound up about this, sorry. Guess some people think 2-3 blocks from the subway they want to use is too far.

  2. It’s a five minute walk at most from the clinton hill place to the C train on Clinton Avenue. It’s probably 10-11 min to the B/Q/R/D on Dekalb and a few minutes more to all the trains on at Atlantic.

I do it every day. I live on the block. The G is about 30 sec away and runs very frequently during rush hour. Takes about 10 min (door to platform) to get to the A at Hoyt.

  3. I hate a long walk to the subway not because I’m lazy but because most of humanity, I’m running late some mornings. Especially parents who commute? Forget it. To live 10 minutes walk or further from a subway is best for freelancers and consultants. But not so great for people who go to an office in Manhattan every day.

  4. It’s not a 10 minute walk, maybe 6 or 7 at the most, unless you are physically in some really bad shape. This place is on Clinton about mid way between Greene and Lafayette. There is a C train stop on Clinton and Fulton (1/2 block to Greene, one block from Green to Gates, short block from Gates to Fulton). If you didn’t like the walk, walk the half block to the G, change to an A or C at Hoyt. Seems like a waste of time imo though.

It’s a good location, just a block into Clinton Hill from Forte Greene. The value would depend on the interior, floor etc, but it sounds reasonable.
